KNX RF+ offers a modern, wireless solution for smart building control – ideal for renovations, retrofits, and all situations where cable pulling is not possible or too costly. The radio technology is fully compatible with the KNX standard, can be configured as usual via the ETS, and enables secure, reliable, and energy-efficient communication between sensors and actuators. KNX RF+ thus offers maximum flexibility in the placement of devices and makes intelligent building technology easier and faster to implement than ever before.

energy supply
Connection to 230V
If the products are installed in locations where they replace a conventional 230V product, they are connected directly to the 230V mains supply and thus receive a permanently stable power supply. This happens, for example, when a conventional light switch is replaced: the KNX RF+ push button is inserted into the existing socket and connected to the power supply.
Battery operation
New installation locations or places that cannot be reached with 230V, such as window handles, are powered by batteries. This means that KNX RF+ devices can be placed anywhere in the room without interfering with the electrical installation. The innovative, energy-efficient DeepSleep technology in MDT RF+ devices ensures that battery-powered products only transmit signals when changes are entered. This allows these products to achieve very long battery life of up to 8 years.
KNX RF+ sensors
Sensors detect conditions such as temperature, brightness, movement, or button commands and send this information directly to the KNX system via radio—for example, when a room temperature sensor controls the heating, a brightness sensor automatically triggers the shading, a motion detector turns on the light, or a battery-powered radio button activates central scenes.

KNX RF+ wireless window handle, secure
With their classic, elegant look in white or stainless steel, the new window handles fit into any interior design. The handles reliably transmit the window status (closed/open/tilted) to the KNX system. The integrated vibration alarm also offers added security, making the new MDT RF+ window handles ideal for security, energy, and ventilation concepts.

KNX RF+ Wireless Glass Push Button Plus
The Glass Button Plus is the MDT classic for the KNX smart home. Touching the button surfaces triggers the stored functions such as switching, dimming, and shading. The individual labeling is placed on a film under the glass surface.

KNX RF+ Wireless Push Button Plus
With a simple push of a button, the push button can call up parameterized functions such as scenes or the dimming function. The push button has up to 8 two-color LEDs for the respective inputs and a two-color orientation LED, as well as 2 logic modules. The LEDs can be parameterized individually.

KNX RF+ wireless push button interface
The MDT KNX RF+ wireless push button interface is installed behind conventional switches or motion detectors and transmits their information to the KNX system. This means that even a 230V switch system can be made smart during renovation.
KNX RF+ actuators
KNX RF+ actuators receive radio signals from the KNX system and convert them directly into actions—for example, switching lights on and off, controlling blinds and shutters, regulating heating, or switching sockets. Thanks to RF+ technology, they work reliably, respond quickly to control commands, and can be used flexibly in different installation locations without the need for complex cabling.

KNX RF+ wireless radiator thermostat, secure
The smart heating control system for retrofitting: MDT RF+ radiator thermostats reliably ensure a constant room temperature. The setpoint can be adjusted either centrally via KNX or locally on the device.
Up to 8 / 3 years battery life due to automatic deep sleep mode.

KNX RF+ wireless switch actuator
The MDT RF+ switch actuator for flush mounting is installed locally directly in the switch box. It is connected to 230V and switches up to 2 consumers independently of each other. Each output is switched via a monostable relay.

KNX RF+ wireless blind actuator
The MDT RF+ blind actuator for flush mounting is suitable for decentralized installation on blind or roller shutter motors. It is connected to 230V and offers extensive functions such as automatic control and sun protection.

KNX RF+ Wireless LED Controller CC/CV
The MDT LED Controller CC/CV is a compact LED controller with an integrated power supply for constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV). It has two channels for connecting LED spots, with “2x white” or “1x tunable white” operating modes available. The comprehensive KNX application enables dynamic daylight control (HCL), time-dependent dimming, and overcurrent/temperature monitoring.

KNX RF+ wireless socket
The wireless socket is simply plugged in between the power outlet and the consumer. This allows the connected device, for example a floor lamp, to be switched on and off via the KNX RF+ wireless system.
KNX RF+ system devices
KNX RF+ line couplers form the backbone of a KNX wireless system. They connect different KNX wireless and wired areas with each other and ensure stable communication across multiple lines. RF+ technology ensures reliable data transmission, enables the integration of KNX RF+ devices into existing KNX installations, and thus ensures seamless, high-performance networking of all components in the building.

KNX RF+ Wireless Line Coupler UP
The MDT KNX RF+ radio line coupler connects MDT KNX RF+ devices to the KNX bus. The line coupler has extensive filter functions to minimize the bus load on the radio link.
