Historic building ‘KPL8’

Klagenfurt, Austria

In the KPL8 project in Klagenfurt, the challenge was to create a modern living experience in the historic building dating back to 1769. The aim was to offer the tenants maximum comfort, energy efficiency and security while preserving the historic structure of the building. Thanks to MDT components, all of the building's systems could be intelligently networked and thus controlled by the residents via app, even remotely. The sophisticated KNX solution from MDT not only created comfort, but also ensured long-term energy savings and contributed to the fulfilment of important ESG criteria.
